The latest generation feedback system for chest compressions
“Cardiovascular diseases are the most common cause of death in Germany. 40.2 per cent of deaths in 2011 was the result of cardiovascular disease. That amounts to approximately 342,000 - 145,500 men and 196,000 women. A heart attack was determined as the cause of death for 55,286 people in 2011.”
CPR guide accompanies and assists first responders from the time first aid is initiated until the patient is handed off to a hospital.
CPR guide is a respiratory measurement device connected to the mouth of the patient that records respiration and monitors the chest compressions. It notifies the first responder visually and acoustically about the progress of the CPR. The core functions of CPRguide: Measures the vital sign respiration.
Measures the strength of chest compressions via the passive airflow. Sets a rhythm for the correct chest compression frequency.
Records the chest compressions via a movement sensor if airways are blocked.
The respiratory sensor of the CPRguide measures the respiratory flow created during the cardiac massage and issues an appropriate, easily recognized signal to the first aider.
